Gasper

Gasper is a boy’s name of Latin origin. Derived from the Latinate root gasper, which comes from the Hebrew word gizbar and the Persian expression ganzabara, it translates to “treasurer.” But it also gets its jewel-in-the-crown meaning from Gaspar, one of the three Magi who brought gifts of gold, myrrh, and frankincense to the newborn Jesus Christ.
