Signa

Signa is a feminine name with Scandinavian roots, but its origin story goes further back and travels across the Baltic and North Sea. The Germanic elements sig and frithu, meaning "victory" and "peace," respectively, formed the name Siegfried, while Old Norse offered Sigfriðr and Sigfrid. Sigfrid is a medieval name borne by the legendary dragon-slayer of Norway, also known as Sigurd.
