The ONLY boy name that my husband likes (this time and last) is Eli Michael. Hubby's middle name is Michael, my son's middle name is Michael and hubby figures why mess with a good thing.
by MrsSholesI'm thinking of Connor Eli for my child if it is a boy. My first child is Dylan Isaac so we thought biblical middle names would be neat for all our children.
by amyhibbLove this name, but not sure about the middle name. I think Eli Joseph flows, but that is DH's brother's name, so he does NOT want to do that. My next thought was Eli James, though DH is not sold on it either. So third option is Eli Wayne (DH's middle name), but if we end up using Eli as our 2nd choice boys name, it will follow Liam Wayne. I guess they can both have the same name, right...
by equinechicMy name is Kyle and I'm a girl who happens to loves her name, thank you very much.
by kyleec82If i have a little boy we willl be naming him Eli Chase!!!
by JESSB1983we're pretty set on eli wyatt for a boy's name. love amish-sounding (no offense) names like eli, and wyatt as a 1st name made me think too much of wyatt earp. but im only like 8 weeks, so we'll see...
by newmomma123My thoughts are to STOP using boy's nameas as girl names. It's so stupid. I originally wanted "Peyton" for a boy, but so many people are naming their girls "Peyton".. There are enough girl names out there, stop it!
by stfunieWe are considering Eli for a girl's name... thoughts?
by aeildIt's my husbands name and after trying to get pregnant for 7 years, we decided to name our first after him. It of course was a girl lol! We still named her after him "Halie Ely" and she is 2 now. She loves her name (for now) she can't say it enough.
by CandyLewThis was our boy name until I found out we're having a girl. Oh well, hopefully next time.
by tmvbmsEli is our favorite boys name so far. I'm only 12 weeks pregnant, so that may change over the weeks, but I love it.
by kkrusedesignsim naming my son Eligh i think its original and unique!
by 420BABIESthe bump was right on! I took the test to see how my naming style is, knowing that we'd like to name our boy Elijah (Eli), and Eli came up as one of our suggestions. So many beautiful and meaningful stories surround the name - Thanks to the bump for the reassurance!
by teerae17Wed89047Eli is from my favor part in the bible. The only time that Jesus ever yelled at God. When he was nailed to the cross he said, "My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me?" In the orginial bible i this passage is "Eli Eli Lama sabachthani". Eli means= My god
