My DH loved this name when he first heard it a few days ago. I never even remotely thought of it as a possibility. Now, a few days later, I love it.
by LiveLove27We're naming our baby girl Fiona Marie also. Absolutely love Burn Notice and do think that played a part in us picking the name. Didn't know the princess in Shrek was named Fiona until people have commented about that after I told them our name choice. Marie is also my middle name.
by age196My daughter's name is Fiona Eleice. It is not common and although I do get the Shrek comment a lot it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Also, Burn Notice was our favorite show when we conceived our daughter! :)
by RyRaneeLove it!! Using it to name my baby girl!
by anrmitchellIll be naming my little girl Fiona Maria. Maria is my mil name. :)
by ewwitsnicoleI like Fiona Marie as well. How funny! Marie was both my Grandmother's middle names and my mother in laws. "Fi" is a cute nickname too...guess we shall see in December what we decide :)
by AmyBartakessI had no idea this name was in Shrek or Burn Notice until I gave it to my baby girl.
by purplemonkeydishwasherI recently saw a baby girl named Fiona Daisy, very cute!
by abrandallMy OB's granddaughter's name is Fiona, but I LOVE this name. It's so pretty even if it is in Shrek. People will associate any name with something else.
by jlpriviteraThis is one of my favorite names, ever since I heard of the singer Fiona Apple. I wanna name my baby girl this, but worried she'll get made fun of because of it being Shrek's wife's name (ogres).
by dannielle81That's a coincidence, my first son is Patrick Edward and if I have a girl this 3rd and final time I like Fiona Ann...
by julybaby84Wow, I guess Fiona Marie is a popular name, I didn't even know. We're not sure what we are having though, so it's either Fiona Marie or Edward Patrick.
by SusanP77My baby will be named Fiona Marie!
by JennLandryWe love this name! But every time we mention it's on our list to friends and family, the first thing they think of is SHREK!
by victoriaav21I would LOVE this name if I had a girl. I have a daughter named Phoebe and would work well with Fiona, but Fiona would have an aunt named Leona.
by mjay79We've picked Fiona Donna Marie, if our baby is a girl. It's a name I've loved forever, and (surprisingly) my husband does too. :)
by dorktressmy baby girl will be Fiona Elizabeth :) We love it!
by nikolie28Lovely!
