my mother picked this name out for a choice for a girl if i have one and i seriously going to consider it as long as my husband agrees
by nicholedavis2012Also think this name ages well. Think it is cute as a little girl, sexy as a woman. And when she becomes a Grandma she can be called Nana Pie. We call our little Piper "Pie" for short. She is a piece of our Pie.
by 007ShannonJust named my daughter Piper and I love it. I have gotten so many compliments on her name. She is very spunky..and fits her name.
by 007ShannonI was one of the only Piper's when I was growing up, and YES I did get made fun of a lot, but never about the Pied Piper. HOWEVER, now adays everyone always remembers the name because it's unusual and actually helps out in business because I never get confused with anyone else.
by poverbaughPiper makes me think of sandpipers....adorable, I love it!
by Lou&BethMy four year old is named Piper! The name is perfect for this child, she gets many compliments on her name.
by kelpica1Sorry don't like it.. reminds me of that old English legend of the Pied Piper... who secretly led children away in England and killed them. The child will get teased as a teen as high school college boys will joke with each other and say.. "why don't you pipe her".. as a sex joke.
by jessamommy2We love it, we are having a girl in March and we are going to name her Pyper Kennedy Mitchell. We liked the different spelling be cause it is similar to what we did with our first little girl Rylie (instead of Riley)
by chrissy.mitchIf my husband and I can ever get pregnant and have a girl, our little girl will be Piper.
by SchnebsI love being named Piper, and I wish it wasn't gaining in popularity! I've aged with it pretty nicely, too :)
by Lilliput10We are naming our little girl Piper after my grandfather's Piper Cub plane! Great way to memorialize him.
by lcoleman509We have chosen Piper if we have a little girl. I can just picture a little girl skipping around in a little dress with pigtails and me calling out "Piper". :)
by MommyKarlawe are naming our little girl Piper!
by featherustIf we have a girl, this is the name we picked!
by nborysI always thought Piper was a female name. I like it but it just doesn't seem to fit any age... Grandma Piper just sounds strange to me. It's one of those names that doesn't seem like it could grow with you.
