Esaias

Esaias is a masculine name of Hebrew origin closely linked to the Hebrew Isaiah. Born from the ancient Hebrew name Yesha'yahu, Esaias means "God is salvation," from the root yasha', "to save." Its etymology reflects the biblical prophet’s, Isaiah's, holy vision and his quest to give voice to the divine word in spite of the opposition he would face.
