Lawren

Lawren is a boy’s name of Latin origin. A variant of Lawrence, its usage goes as far back as the days of the Anglo-Saxon tribes. Derived from Laurentius, it refers to a “man from Laurentium,” an ancient city in Italy. In Virgil’s Aeneid, one finds a possible explanation for why it’s so, and it seems that the city was named after the Latinus’ favorite tree, the laurel or bay tree. So whether or not baby can trace their own family tree to this region doesn’t matter. What does is if your newborn is your favorite child yet!
