Meelia

Meelia is a direct descendant of Amelia, both feminine Latin names with the meaning of "industrious." Beautiful to both speak and hear, Meelia is a name that resonates with our senses on many levels. It's hard to see the name and not think of Amelia Earhart, even now, several decades after her disappearance. She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, a best-selling author, and instrumental in forming the 99s, an organization of female pilots. Amelia went missing on one of the final legs of her bid to become the first woman to complete a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937. "Industrious" is just the first word of many to describe Amelia and baby Meelia.
