Toi

Toi is a boy’s name of Hebrew origin. Meaning “to wander” or “to stray,” it comes from the Christian Bible, where Toi, the king of Hamath—also named Tou—sends gifts of gold, silver, and bronze to King David in celebration of a joint military triumph. Like some of the rarer names in the sacred text, Toi may or may not have taken you by surprise. But who says you and baby can’t wander off the beaten track?
