Yisachar

Yisachar is a form of biblical Issachar, a masculine name of Hebrew origin. Possibly derived from ish sakar or yesh sakar, Yisachar adopts the meanings “man of hire” and “there is reward” respectively. Issachar appears in the Book of Genesis as the fifth son of Leah and Jacob.
